Today was my first day spending any time with the Hendersons. They're quite dry, and I can only play them for a few minutes without risking cracking. However, they're pretty darn good. They're just as harmonic and steady as the Naills, but with more bass. That's a big deal, since I couldn't hear my bass against the background buzz of pipers at the Rhode Island games. If I can get them broken in without major issues, they'll probably be my main solo set through the rest of the season. A quick clip: soundcloud.com/steve-lemieux-141687012/2018-06-17-paddys-shamrock-shore. Assuming they continue being excellent, they may end up at Dunbar for an evaluation/repairs before next season.
